Sincere thank you for smoking!

After seeing a movie called „Thank you for smoking“ I have realized devastating power of tobacoo companies. It's not only the question of money, but also the power, literally political power. Lobbyists, marketing strategies and funding can stop even the most sincere effort to inform people about their health.Things like 1,000 American dies of smoking every day is not working for many – these 1,000 are unknown, unfamiliar people to them, but every one knows Angelina Jolie or Antonio Banderas who playing desperately sexy movie heroes are smoking. People are swallowing this habit as a part of an image. Actually movies business, just like any other business ge! ts enormous money for making such scenes. What comes out of it? Children looking up at their idols willing to be them, trying anything that would bring them closer. And once you establish a child customer, you get him for life-time. Even if it's 3 years old customer, smoking is a habit one can't give up that easily.Sometimes and it's been devastating group become smokers or suffer diseases as a result of second-hand smoking. According U.S. offices and departments this kind of smoking influences mostly the youngest children aging 1+ years old. Once smoking parents and children share the same air, theit health gets down – what seems to be most vulgar is the fact that these children can't make a choice if to smoke or not, they simply do. But this all bring enormous money to tobacoo companies.What's most ironic that many of them ruling this business, even many of movie stars are non-smokers. So it's a double trap played on people.Statistics suggest that one in five Americ! ans is smoking dependent and since 1960 when major anti-smokin! g campai gns and laws ruled the country the situation is getting worse. Although there are states that pass several smoking bans, the average number is flat or slightly increasing.
