Doctors and nurses drugged at Paris hospital

Interesting thing took place in Paris the Hôtel-Dieu hospital where six members of the medical team all fell into a deep sleep Tuesday after they drank a cup of coffee. The reason why is that in their coffee there was a powerful anti-psychotic drug. The news was brought by French daily LE Parisien reports. The deep sleep lasted a long time. On Tuesday evening four of the members were still in a deep sleep. But the latest reports said that before lunchtime Wednesday all of them were already awake. Even though their lives were not in a real danger, French police have opened a criminal enquiry for those who caused the poisoning. Unknown person filled the thermos with coff! ee in the staff room in the Paris hospital with a high dose of Loxapac. And so six doctors, nurses and auxiliary carers who wanted to find their routine pick-me-up experienced the complete opposite. They all complained of nausea and by midday they were found asleep. Just for illustration a single 60 ml dose of Loxapac can make asleep fifteen 90 kg people for a half of the day. Investigators think that the incident is nothing else than just a joke. However, a source near to the enquiry said that playing with such drug is dangerous and simply does not make sense. Police is currently searching for one patient that drank the poisoned coffee before leaving the hospital on Tuesday morning. It was a mother threatened for a psychiatric problems. It seems that the staff room is never locked even though its use should be only for hospital personnel.
