Sleep is the best cure and desired good.

It's neither new, nor surprising fact for us that the lack of sleep considerably affect our performance the next day. And we know it's not ending the next day, because more older we are, the more affected we are. I remeber when I was 16 and I was able to stay in the school, have three meetings after it, have my piano lesson, then to walk to the nearest hill to see the sunset and then spend all night on party. Sometimes I was sleeping an hour, sometimes not, and still I was able to continue in relatively normal conditions the next day. Oh, those were the days of my life. I wasn't addicted to cafe which I am still not, but I could work like this two or three days. Now, I am 2! 3 and although I am very hardworking person, I can't repeat such performance. I can't even stay awake all night long – maximum once in a month. But the next day I see my energy hits very average performance. Still, there are people who can live like this for ages. I don't speak primarily of party animals, there are workoholics and people who can't relax. It is not normal to work 18 hours a day, it's not sustainable to be online 24/7 even if we find it our daily reality.Sleep is the best cure, says the old saying. During the sleep we balance our energy levels, our bodies are regenerating and we slow down the aging process. There is no such alternative to sleep for us. Medicaments, energy drinks, stimulants are not working. They activate body for short time, but the amount of exhaustion is deepening. The body defends in every possible way. No wonder we are more often hungry, we desire sweets. The body seeks for energy source. But after this period, aging process explode! s. Have you seen your skin after a day of not sleeping? Have y! ou seen the dull shine of your eyes after such day? You seemed older and no make up could cover that.You felt tired, your heartbeat was too high or too low, sometimes not in the rhytm. One doesn't get surprised by increasing number of heartattacks, hypertensions, obesity, diabetes and cancer caused by lack of sleep and enormous stress. And if we continue we loose the ability to sleep and regenerate. Here it comes to sleeping pills and awesome drug industry. Certainy, we are not made of stone and steel.Human body is a fragile war zone and it's necessary to listen to its signals. Especially when you plan to live more than 40-50 years.
