Pro e Contra for the health care bill

Few days before the senators are going to vote for the health care bill, President Barack Obama, for whom this law was one of the crucial in his campaign, he signed the bill yesterday. He pronounces “a new season in America”. Such battered words are not going to cover the malcontent of his people, and that’s why his popularity falls every day, more and more. Before the official vote, some points of the law, are still provoking dilemmas and debates among the senators. This law includes more expensive subsidies for people that earn less, offers bigger help for older people, when it comes to drug prescriptions. One hundred senators are about to vote for th! e law. Democrats seat on 59 chairs. The law is going to be brought with a simple majority, and not with the usual 60 votes. Republicans biggest fact why shouldn’t this bill be accepted are that it is going to increase the taxes and that it shouldn’t be obliged. They have a lot of amendments to add and that might complicate the complete version of the fix-it bill, and return it back to the White House and then back to the Senate. And normally, in politics there are a lot of games and a lot of deals if a politician wants to gain something. For example, Obama wanted to sign an order affirming the law against federal funding of abortions, only in the cases of rape, incest or danger to the woman's life. But few anti-abortion Democrates threatened not to vote for the health care bill, so Obama moved his amends of the law. I guess this is nothing strange, because every vote counts. The plan with the new health care bill is about 32 million Americans to get insurance ! over the next decade.
