Swine flu vaccination is awaited
by kristina leskova

Do you hesitate about swine flu vaccination? Now it is the time when first vaccines are arriving and you should decide. The Health and Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius appealed on people to get the vaccination. It is really important to be vaccinated; this is for your safety. Probably you are worried about the safety of swine flu vaccination but Sebelius claimed that it is safe. She said that these vaccines were made the same way like the vaccines for seasonal flu are made every year. The adverse effects appear only occasionally but this is normal. Every person reacts in other way and that is why the pharmaceutical companies can not say that there are no adverse e! ffects. If you are a parent and you hesitate about the vaccination for your children do not worry. There was some information that this vaccine was prepared too quickly and is not safe for them. But Sebelius replied that the vaccine was targeted directly on H1N1 virus. We know that about 600 people died due to swine flu so please do not hesitate and take care of your and your children’s health. This type of flu is dangerous especially for children because their immunity is not as strong as ours. The United States offer 90 000 places where you can get your vaccine. And it is awaited that by the end of this month the country will have plenty of the vaccine. She identified five target groups – pregnant women, health care workers, children between the age six months and 24 years and the last group are older people. And this is about half of the whole population.
