Missing Attitude

This is probably another breaking point for president Obama during his presidency. The Health care reform is about to be passed however, no one is sure in which form. Early assumed public option that meant improving bureaucracy and inability of insurance companies are now floating in the air. It’s not an easy way to go. On one side there are enough Republicans (60 and more) to turn down the reform if it includes the public option. According Conservatives, the reform is missing a strong solution and the party certainly doesn’t want to be playing a role on passing such incomplete reform. On the other side there are Democrats, suddenly not knowing, what’s ! the current form of the bill. Many call for the public option – summing it shortly – insurance companies are continuously better paid and provide less for the people. Their premiums went up three times faster than their payments last year and many working families were sharing these costs. What’s behind that is the eternal fight among insurance company threatening the citizen with a bunch of unpaid bills. It seems worse during the crisis and increasing unemployment. The health care system needs to be reformed. President Obama spoke for improving the system through people during his candidacy. According critics, it was, apart of his rhetoric one of the main points that got him into the chair. Now, his attitude seems to be unknown. He is facing intraparty revolution, because there are as many Democrats calling for public option as many fearing fiasco. President may be overexposing his power. And it’s not good when his popularity gets another drop-of! f. So right now, Capitol Hill is waiting for another of his sp! eeches t hat is about to show his opinion. Whether with people or not. Both of the choices are risky and bring serious consequences, but Americans can feel, the initial good will or let’s say pre-election promises are in the game.
