What will happen with the health plan?

Politicians are (at least as they say) trying to find compromises and the best passable ways, but the opposite is true. It is like a dirty game, in which no one is a real winner. It is not about searching some agreement; it is about advancing one’s own interests. And every single plan always gets to the state of war when enemies are friends and friends are actually enemies. Just look at Obama’s health care plan which is mentioned constantly. First of all Obama had problems with Republicans, but it was nothing new and so no surprise. Now the question is, if the debate over healthcare reform won’t alienate also Democrats. The reason could be dropping the ! public option. What is the public option? Public option is a government health insurance program which is similar to Medicare, what means it would be open to anyone. Obama just wants to offer insurance for every single American. But is it really a good idea? Republicans don’t think it is. They say a public plan would unfairly compete with private sector and private insurance companies and so cripple the whole insurance industry. It also seems that usually collective Democrats are not so unambiguously decided. They are not so sure about the plan and Democratic Party is not united as it used to be. But Obama is not giving it up. He is fighting for his plan as much as he can. The White House is organizing various meetings with American citizens which resemble his presidential campaign. And what about Americans? They are more and more skeptical not only about Obama’s health care plan but also about Obama himself.
