Good nurse gone bad

If you are sick and the doctor recommended a health resort in order to recover, you should reconsider it. There are many problems that may appear like getting intoxicated with hydrogen peroxide. It is not a joke, it happened to Russians visiting a health resort. On Thursday, Itar-Tass news agency made public the fact that 17 tourists in the Caucasus spa town of Yessentuki had to be treated in hospital after nurse mixed-up water with hydrogen peroxide and gave it to take with them the enemas (a procedure of introducing liquids into the rectum and colon via the anus). Enemas can be carried out for medical reasons (as a treatment for constipation) as a remedy for encopresis, as part of alternative health therapies, and also for erotic purposes, particularly as part of BDSM activities. In earlier times, they were often known as clysters, and were probably used more frequently than at present. The sanatorium's officials revealed that the mistake was due to the resemblance between the two substances; nevertheless, hydrogen peroxide, which can be used to bleach hair, is used only as a disinfectant and should not be ingested. The nurses have mistaken the substances, thus intoxicating the patients and instead of making them enjoy the benefits offered by a health resort, they made them even sicker and even intoxicated them. Nowadays, a simple trip to a health spa might is dangerous due to the medical staff that is constantly doubtful and committing errors.
