Vampire killer.

Tuberculosis is dangerous illness, which is caused by mycobacterium- exactly Mycobacterium tuberculosis. There are many kinds of this bacterium, some of them are very dangerous, and some of them are dangerous, only if you have weak immunity. It can infect lungs, nervous system, sometimes lymphatic system, circulatory system and many other parts of your body. This is one of the oldest illnesses in the human history. It is known from ancient times. What is interesting about this, is that in the time before Industrial revolution was Tuberculosis considered to be vampirism. Why? It was simple. When one member of the family got this illness and died, it didn't take long time and the rest of the family got sick too. They were dying one after another one. So their neighbours thought, that the first, who died from that family, was coming back to take lives from the rest of the family- like vampire. Infected people even had similar symptoms: red eyes, pale skin, they were bleeding… This problem is not so big these days. People care about hygiene, which is important, because you can get this illness from other people. Progress in science allows scientists to prepare high-quality pills and meds. But in the few past years there were lots of infected people. Many of them are immune against the medicaments. So should we be afraid of this? Scientists have to work hard to bring us new and stronger meds.
